The participation regulations will apply to all events organized by B2B ᴄʏᴄʟɪɴɢ xᴘ® Experiences

Purpose:

The B2B ᴄʏᴄʟɪɴɢ xᴘ® Technical Commission will ensure that the technical aspects of the events are of the highest quality.
The rules of the event, mark the conduct of the competitors.
The operation and organization manual for the events establishes the security and logistics standards.

Intention:

The B2B ᴄʏᴄʟɪɴɢ xᴘ® rules have the following intentions:

  1. Create an atmosphere of friendship, equality and fair play.
  2. Provide security and protection.
  3. Emphasize ingenuity and skill, without limiting the freedom of action of the participants.
  4. Penalize competitors who obtain an unfair advantage or disregard the regulations.

The rules are subject to change, with the approval of the B2B ᴄʏᴄʟɪɴɢ xᴘ® Executive Council. Rules Updates will be posted on the website www.b2bxp.com

GENERAL RULES

1. CONDUCT OF PARTICIPANTS

The events are exclusive and do not involve a large number of participants. Participation tactics are part of the interaction between participants. Participants must:

  1. Practice good sportsmanship at all times (fair play).
  2. Be responsible for your own safety and that of others.
  3. Know, understand and fully understand the current Participation Regulations. Knowledge of the routes is also the participant’s obligation.
  4. Obey the instructions of the officials, as well as the instructions that have been regulated for the event.
  5. Treat other participants, officials, volunteers, and spectators with respect and courtesy.
  6. Avoid using violent, inappropriate and aggressive language.
  7. If someone commits an offense to the regulations with knowledge of it, they must report this offense to an official, and if necessary, immediately withdraw from the event.
  8. Inform technical officials after withdrawing from a competition, failure to do so may result in suspension.
  9. Participate without receiving external help, other than that of a Technical Official or Organizing Committee.
  10. It is not allowed to manipulate the advertising of the objects delivered by the organizing committee (caps, numbers, etc.).
  11. Do not littering on the tour except in the places designated for this.
  12. Do not try to gain any advantage from any external vehicle or any other object.
  13. Follow the path of the competition.
  14. The use of any device that distracts the athlete during the competition is not allowed.

Athletes may not use communication devices of any kind, including but not limited to cell phones, smart watches, and radios in a way that distracts them from the competition. “. By that he means making or receiving calls, receiving text messages, listening to music, taking pictures, making use of social media; Cameras, phone cameras and video cameras are prohibited unless authorized by B2B for their use. It is the athlete’s responsibility to request said permission and, if allowed, to inform the Race Director.

 

2. EXTERNAL AID

  1. The help provided by the event staff and technical officials is allowed, but limited to giving them medical, mechanical, hydration and food assistance, with the approval of the Technical Delegate and the competition Referee, athletes in the same competition, can assist another with hydration, food, chamber, air pump.
  2. Athletes can help other athletes who are in the same event and prevent the first athlete from continuing their competition, this includes shoes, helmet, complete bicycle, bicycle frame, wheels or tennis shoes.
  3. An athlete may not physically assist the advancement of another athlete in any part of the course. If this happens, both athletes will be disqualified.

 

3. HEALTH

  1. The events involve great wear and tear and physical effort. In order to be able to participate, it is the competitors’ obligation to be in excellent health and physical condition. Your health is of vital importance.
  2. Time limits will be established for the tours. These will be established for each event by the Technical Delegate.
  3. Later these limits will be mentioned in the previous meeting and published in the call.

 

4. REQUIREMENTS TO PARTICIPATE IN B2B ᴄʏᴄʟɪɴɢ xᴘ® EVENTS

  1. All participants must have the registration for the event and a signed disclaimer letter.
  2. It is the participant’s obligation to know the competition routes and follow them as stipulated in the call and in the previous meeting of the event. In case of diversion of an athlete by a volunteer or lack of signaling, the loss will be the responsibility of the athlete.
  3. B2B ᴄʏᴄʟɪɴɢ xᴘ® experiences (tickets) and additional services are nominative. They cannot be transferred to anyone else and / or to the following year, under any circumstances, non-refundable or deferrable. Each Experience and extra service is issued in the name of the participant and can only be used by the participant. Identity checks will be carried out systematically on the registration day for each event. No participant will be entitled to a refund of the entry fee in the event of a disqualification.

 

5. INSURANCE

It is the responsibility of each competitor to have adequate insurance coverage for medical expenses.

6. UNIFORMS

Participants may not compete with a naked torso. At all times the torso must be adequately covered. The penalty for not complying with this rule is the warning. The participant, then, must stop until the defect is corrected. If the rectification does not take place, the sanction will be the suspension of the event.

Uniform Rules

  1. All participants will be able to use their team uniform
  2. Uniforms containing any type of racial, political or religious propaganda are not allowed.
  3. You must wear the uniform throughout the competition.

 

7. CALL

  1. It will be the obligation of the organizing committees to announce the calls corresponding to the events. The events must adhere to the participation and organization regulations of B2B ᴄʏᴄʟɪɴɢ xᴘ®.
  2. In case of non-conformities, what is expressed in the corresponding call will be determined.
  3. B2B ᴄʏᴄʟɪɴɢ xᴘ® will promptly communicate modifications or updates to the regulations.

 

8. MEETINGS PRIOR TO EVENTS

  1. At least one mandatory prior meeting with the athletes will be scheduled at least one day before the event.
  2. This meeting must be directed by the Competition Director, and the Technical Delegate or the Competition Referee of the event.
  3. The previous meeting will inform the minors of the event, schedules, accesses, etc. and the regulations for it.

 

9. DELIVERY OF PACKAGES

  1. At B2B ᴄʏᴄʟɪɴɢ xᴘ® events, participants are responsible for picking up their packages.
  2. The packages must be collected at the times designated for this purpose, one or two days before the event showing a valid official identification and signing a letter of exoneration, this will be established in the call.
  3. There will be a designated time to pick up packages.
  4. If any participant is unable for any reason to appear on the day and at the time designated for registration, a written request must be made to the Organizing Committee. Competition packages must contain a minimum of:
    >Participation number.
    >Events program. (The information will be published on the website).
    >Start times. (The information will be published on the website).
    >Route maps (The information will be published on the website)
    It is the participant’s responsibility to know the B2B ᴄʏᴄʟɪɴɢ xᴘ® rules.

 

10. RECORDING OF TIMES AND RESULTS

As it is not a competition, the organizing committee is not obliged to deliver times and results to the participants, however, in an informative way, the total times will be delivered.

  1. The official results must include after the last athlete finished and in this order:
    >(DNF) Athletes who have not finished the competition,
    >(DNS) Registered athletes who have not started.
    >(DQF) Disqualified athletes, without any indication of time and including the reasons for disqualification.
  2. The results will be official once the race director has signed them. The director can use all available resources to determine the final position of an athlete.

 

11. COMPETITION NUMBERS

  1. In B2B ᴄʏᴄʟɪɴɢ xᴘ® events, it is mandatory to wear the participant number on the back of the Jersey at the height of the lower back.
  2. The numbers must be perfectly visible. They cannot be cut or bent.
  3. Athletes may not compete bare-chested. At all times the torso must be correctly positioned on both shoulders. Advertising is permitted on the athlete’s uniform, as long as it does not interfere with the identification or control of the officials.

 

12. JOURNEY

  1. Each B2B ᴄʏᴄʟɪɴɢ xᴘ® event takes place along a route pre-established by the organizing committee.
  2. The CO reserves the right to increase, modify, cancel or change the route at any time.
  3. If necessary and for security reasons, the organizing committee reserves the right to detain participants during the event at any time or place.
  4. For security reasons, the organizing committee reserves the right, at any place and at any time during the event, to designate alternate routes that will be made known to the participants at the time.
DISCIPLINE OF THE PARTICIPANTS

Failure to comply with the rules may result in a participant being warned, eliminated, suspended or expelled. Punishments are listed throughout this regulation. Before each competition, athletes must review these rules and sign a waiver.

  1. Failure by a participant to comply with the rules set forth in these regulations or the indications of the judges and / or officials will be grounds for sanction. The penalties for breaking the rules are as follows: I) Warning. II) Elimination. III) Suspension. V) Expulsion.
  2. Each sanction must be identified with a description of the fact, a specific reference to the rule violated and the number of the offending participant.
  3. The technical officials of the competition and the appeal committee are the only persons or entities authorized to impose the sanctions.

 

1. WARNING

  1. It is not necessary for a judge to give a warning before issuing or deciding a more serious or severe punishment.
  2. The purpose of a warning or warning is to warn the competitor of a possible rule violation, and to promote a “proactive” attitude on the part of the officials. It will be used in the following cases:
    >When a violation of a rule is unintentional, and / or does not pose a dangerous situation for the athlete or for third parties, and can be corrected after the warning
    >When an officer interprets that a violation of a rule is going to occur.
    >In any circumstance that at the discretion of the official, is worthy of this sanction. For instance; Numbers not visible in their entirety, not respecting the instructions of officials, being accompanied by a person or vehicle outside the competition, throwing or throwing garbage before the area indicated for it.

 

2. DISPOSAL

It will be applied to offenses of special gravity, which may alter the security conditions and / or the results of a competition.

The participant sanctioned with an elimination is not authorized to continue in the competition. In the event of doing so, all the responsibilities that he may incur with his attitude will be exclusively his, without prejudice to the disciplinary sanctions that may be applicable.

If conditions permit, the official will disqualify the athlete as follows:

  1. Calling the competitor and,
  2. Showing a red card or flag and
  3. Mentioning the competitor’s number

Deletion will be used in the following cases:

  1. Make use of insults, aggressive, abusive, high-sounding, offensive language to any official, or support staff (volunteers, motorcyclists, etc.), spectators, competitors, etc., or show any unsportsmanlike behavior (may be grounds for suspension) .
  2. Blocking, pushing, obstructing or interfering with the course of another competitor.
  3. Unjustified, illegal or violent contact. The fact that occasional contact occurs between competitors does not constitute a violation in itself. When multiple competitors move in a limited area of ​​space, contact can occur. This incidental contact of competitors in equal circumstances does not mean a violation of the rule.
  4. When an athlete has falsified any of their personal data when registering for the event.
  5. In the event that a vehicle external to the staff of the organization accompanies an athlete.
  6. Failure to respect the speed limit in controlled areas:
    >From start-up until there is enough light and the officer indicates it.
    >Downhill at all mountain passes.
    >In any other circumstance that at the discretion of the officer, is worthy of this sanction.

In all cases of sanctions, the officials who impose the same must inform the General Director of the event as soon as possible.

 

3. SUSPENSIONS

It means that a competitor will not be able to take part in any B2B event during the time period of the suspension.

A competitor will be suspended for (but not solely for these reasons):

  1. Unsportsmanlike conduct.
  2. Fraud: Eg – that B2B. finds out that the competitor participated under the name that is not the real one, giving false information, or the use of false documents. It is the responsibility of each competitor to complete their registration procedures in each event.
  3. Suspensions will be a decision of the B2B Executive Committee and will vary between periods of three (3) months up to (4) years, depending on the absence.

 

5. EXPULSION

The competitor who is entitled to an expulsion is sanctioned for life and may not take part in any. B2B event, while suspended or expelled by B2B.

A competitor will be expelled (suspended for life) (although not solely for these reasons).

  1. For unsportsmanlike conduct that is unusual and notably violent.
  2. For conduct that endangers the life of another participant, official or any member of the staff.
