A thrilling descent leads us to the Santiago River and the monumental La Yesca Dam (208.5 m), an engineering marvel.
Climbs and canyons test our strength before returning to the cobblestones of Hostotipaquillo.
The loop closes in Tequila, where agave fields and history welcome us home.

It features the legendary La Yesca climb—25 km with +1,288 m of elevation gain, a sustained ascent through dramatic canyons that culminates in the historic town of La Yesca, founded by Jesuit missionaries in 1716.
We are proud to share that in February 2022, just one month after the route’s inauguration, we became the first cyclists in the world to complete this epic challenge.
